The project goes a little bit beyond hand lettering, although has been tagged as such and this was the original intention.

For pragmatic reasons I replaced the initial single sheet drawing full of details and ligature loops with 3 pages (similarly to the classical resume – the address, career, presentations) with a slightly different lettering layout. The whole project remains, I hope, in the 19th century aesthetics of printing. all prepared in Adobe Illustrator for a two-colour letterpress.

The Underwood No. 5 , which is an inspiration for my work, still sits on my desk, I have also kept the Kodak lens and it still works.

projekt wykracza nieco poza obszar „hand lettering” chociaż został tak otagowany i taki był pierwotny zamysł. 

ze względów pragmatycznych - początkowy, jednoarkuszowy rysunek pełen detali i pętli ligaturowych - zastąpiłem trzema stronami ( podobnie jak w klasycznym resume - dane adresowe, kariera, prezentacje) o nieco innym układzie literniczym. całość pozostaje - mam przynajmniej taką nadzieję, w XiX wiecznej estetyce druku. całość przygotowana w illustratorze pod dwukolorowy letterpress. 

underwood nr 5 - będący inspiracją do mojej pracy - nadal zdobi moją szafkę, po kodaku pozostał mi działający nadal obiektyw.
